How to Integrate Deadline Funnel with EasyWebinar

How to integrate Deadline Funnel with EasyWebinar and Your Email Software Provider (ESP):

The method you use to integrate Deadline Funnel with EasyWebinar will depend on which email software you are using because EasyWebinar doesn't integrate with every system in the same way.

Whenever possible use EasyWebinar's email system for all emails between the registration and the actual webinar:

  • registration links
  • reminders
  • replay announcements

For everything that happens after the webinar up until your deadline expires, we recommend you use your email service provider. 

How to Set Up your EasyWebinar with Deadline Funnel using the API Integration:

To use the Deadline Funnel API integration, you must be using an ESP that EasyWebinar integrates with via API, as well.

At the time of this writing, these ESPs include:

  1. Integrate one of the ESPs above with EasyWebinar via their API. You can find instructions for the EasyWebinar integrations here:  EasyWebinar Integrations Support
  2. In your ESP integration you will create tags that should be applied to your leads when they attend or miss your webinar. These tags will trigger their deadline.
  3. Integrate your ESP with Deadline Funnel being careful to set up the API integration to use the tag you selected/created to trigger your deadline. You can click the name of the ESP above that corresponds to your email software to see how to integrate Deadline Funnel via API.

This setup gives you the most flexibility because EasyWebinar can send a trigger to your ESP to apply a tag to the lead's record when they attend or miss the webinar. 

How to Setup Your EasyWebinar With Deadline Funnel using the Optin Integration:

If you are NOT using one of the email systems above, then you'll need to use the optin integration and set up your webinar registration options so that all of the choices are on the same day. For example, you could have your registration set up for 3 possible times today (the day they register) or 3 possible times tomorrow... but NOT both. 

Doing this keeps the number of days between the registration event and the deadline for your promotion a specific number of days.

In some cases this might not be ideal for what you had planned, but it's required in order to synchronize the follow-up email timing and the Deadline Funnel tracking - since EasyWebinar can't tell your email system to apply a tag.
