Integrating your Teachable Sales Page with Deadline Funnel enables you to create an evergreen funnel offering access to your course for a limited time. Each deadline will be personalized on an individual basis, on an evergreen, rolling basis.

  • Each deadline will be personalized on an individual basis

  • When the deadline passes, Deadline Funnel will prevent leads from visiting your course page

  • You can choose what URL to redirect visitors to after the deadline expires

Note- Teachable allows Deadline Funnel to put timers on Teachable landing pages, not checkout pages.

Deadline Funnel default behavior

The default behavior in Deadline Funnel is to always show a deadline on the page.

  • If the visitor has already been tracked by Deadline Funnel, then we'll show their existing deadline.

  • If they haven't been tracked yet, Deadline Funnel will start tracking them via their IP address/cookie, and display a new deadline for that user.

Integrate your Teachable Promotion with Deadline Funnel

In your Deadline Funnel admin, click on 'Tracking Code' to copy your Deadline Funnel tracking code:

Now go to your Teachable account and navigate to 'Site' > 'Code Snippets':

Paste your Deadline Funnel tracking code into the 'Head Code Snippets' box and click 'Save':

Navigate back to Deadline Funnel, add the URL of your Teachable page to Campaigns > Edit Campaign > Pages, select 'Display Floating Bar', and (optionally) add your Redirect URL, then hit 'Save':

Your floating bar timer should now appear on your Teachable Sales Page. Here's an example of what the Floating Bar will look like:

Adding an Inline Countdown Timer to your Teachable Page

Note- To set up an Inline timer on your Teachable page you need to use the 'Custom HTML block' which is not enabled by default in Teachable. Reach out to Teachable support to have his feature enabled in your account.

Follow all the steps above, then navigate to your Pages tab in your Deadline Funnel campaign, click 'Edit Settings' and select the icon to 'Display Inline Timer', then copy the Code Snippet that's displayed, and click Save:

Return to your course in Teachable and edit your sales page:

In your sales page editor, add an HTML block to your page:

Paste the HTML snippet from above into the Custom HTML block and click 'Save':

When you view your sales page you will see your countdown:

How To Add Portal To Your Teachable Page

After you've added the Tracking Code to your site settings, go to the “Pages” section of your Deadline Funnel campaign and click “Add New Page”

Click the “Display Portal” Option:

Add the page where you want Portal to show up, and if you want it to redirect to a different page when the deadline ends, add the redirect page. (If you don’t want it to redirect, leave this field blank)

Click “Save” and then go test the page to see if Portal is showing up. You should see it within a minute or two of making the updates.
