How to Redirect Visitors if their Browser Doesn't Allow Cookies

This is one of the less common features in Deadline Funnel but can be very useful.

How does this work?

If a site visitor is using a browser or extension that prevent cookies, you have the option to redirect these visitors to a URL of your choosing once this blocking is detected.

When would you use this?

You would use this feature to:

  1. Send visitors to a page that is not in your funnel (prevent them from entering your funnel)
  2. Send them to a page that indicates they need to turn cookies on in order to get your special deal

Why is this useful?

This is useful if you want to make sure that your tracking will work more accurately.

For instance, marketers in European countries have to take extra steps not to track visitors that don't want to be tracked. But without tracking cookies, it will be much more difficult for you to track the deadline for your campaign.

So, if someone has cookie tracking off, you might want to send them to a page that tells them "we have a special deal but you need to allow cookies".
